How do you choose the resources you link to in the show notes?

Throughout the year, we link to many different resources and links that correspond to our daily reading and recap. However, these links are not an endorsement of everything that the particular person/ministry/website does or says. We are unable to vet the full history of every person, site, or organization we link to–-we simply found the specific resource linked was helpful to provide a fuller understanding of the specific text or topic of Scripture being addressed.

You can read more about our beliefs/absolutes. These are things that The Bible Recap stands firmly behind. We work hard never to contradict these absolutes in our words or our suggested resources. We don’t claim to fully align ourselves with any other person or organization.  If you find a specific resource we’ve linked to that doesn’t appear to align with our beliefs/absolutes, please let us know.

For secondary and tertiary topics (convictions, opinions, questions, etc.), The Bible Recap aims to remain neutral, knowing there can be a variety of opinions that are not contrary to Scripture (although people often hold strong convictions and opinions about them). Because we attempt to remain neutral in these areas, TBR has been able to serve as a resource for brothers and sisters in Christ from a wide variety of denominations and traditions. We hope that the tools we provide serve as on-ramps for further conversations and conclusions within local church communities.

Overall, our mission is to help people read, understand, and love God’s Word. We aim to do that by encouraging people to dig into Scripture and engage thoughtfully with their local church.
