Why is TBR not a non-profit?

We’re honored and grateful that you would consider supporting our work. Tara-Leigh’s original intent in creating The Bible Recap, D-Group International, and her other ministries was to help a few people in her personal community grow in their love of the Bible. 

Shrinking Inc, Tara-Leigh’s organization that produces and distributes The Bible Recap program, is currently not a non-profit / 501(c)3 and we do not have plans to transition to that tax status. As things have grown, it has become clear that it’s in the best interest for her ministry (and the community that believes in it) to maintain a for-profit status. This status allows us to use many funding methods that being a 501(c)3 would render us ineligible. 

Again, we appreciate your excitement for us and we greatly appreciate your support as we continue to help people read, understand, and love the Bible!
