You can READ, UNDERSTAND, and LOVE the Bible!
The Bible Recap (TBR) follows a chronological Bible reading plan and is a short daily recap by creator and host, Tara-Leigh Cobble. TBR comes in several forms—book, podcast, or video.
Each day’s Bible reading is approximately 12 minutes long and each recap is about 8 minutes long (or 2 pages in the book). Everything you need to get started is below.
HOW TO START
Follow these steps as you start either the New Testament or the whole Bible!
STEP 1
Choose your own adventure! Pick how you’d like to follow along with our Bible reading plan/recap with us. We have digital OR print options, or you can do a combination of both!

A. Download the Bible App (free) or Dwell Bible app (subscription) for access to 365-day and New Testament reading plans.
- On the Bible App, follow the TBR page for access to plans.
- On the Dwell app, search for “The Bible Recap”

B. Subscribe to The Bible Recap Google Calendar.
- Note: This calendar starts with Day 001 on Jan 1, and isn’t customizable to a different start date.
RECAP
A. On the Bible App, the YouTube video recaps are directly in the plan. See links above for more info. On the Dwell app, you can get the podcast recaps directly in the app.AND/OR

Note: If you'd like to purchase a print chronological Bible, be sure to purchase the TBR Bible. It's laid out in our reading plan, and other chronological Bibles may not align exactly with the same daily reading OR you can just use a regular Bible with our printed plan.

Before you begin, watch or listen to our PREP EPISODES to set yourself up for success! We want you to get the most out of your time in Scripture and avoid common pitfalls.
Prep for The Bible Recap, TBR Kids, 2026 Prep, or the New Testament!
PRO TIP:
We launch episodes daily, starting with Day 1 on Jan 1. If you start on a different day, consider adjusting the settings in your podcast app to play in sequential order. Processes vary across apps. Do a web search for "[app name]+ how to play episodes sequentially” for instructions.
